Welcome to Chicks Dig History!

My name is A.L. Alvarado and I am a student of all things history and information literacy. The purpose of this blog is to bring information to my History and Information Literacy students, and to create content for my own school assignments.

Born and raised in southern California, I have recently relocated to the Mid-South and am currently focusing on teaching while attending a doctoral program in history.
